Burbank, or what some call the “Media Capital of the World,” is a hub for the entertainment industry, with major studios like Warner Bros. and Disney calling it home.

But Burbank has more than just movie magic to offer – it also has vibrant, lively nightlife!
Burbank’s bars are a must-visit for anyone looking to catch up with close friends or enjoy a night out on the town.
So, let’s take a peek at the best bars in Burbank!

I love going to this friendly bar with friends to drink local California craft beer and play board games all night long.
Tony’s is also one of the best bars in Burbank, California for those who love sausage, as their menu is filled with delicious sausage options like the Beer Brat with grilled onions and Street Meet with peppers, onions, mayo, and ketchup.

Broken Compass Tiki, a little down the street from The Nitecap comedy club, is one of the most fun places to go for drinks for those of us who can’t get enough of tiki-themed bars – especially with a pirate twist!
They have great burgers, lobster rolls, and other pub grub, as well as fantastic tiki drinks like the classic Mai Tai or the inventive Zombie Magic, with coffee-infused white rum and pomegranate.
I love going here before a comedy show or during happy hours after a long day.
They have well-priced fish tots, spam sliders, and Brussels sprouts, so what more could I ask for?

The Snug, located by Whitnall Highway Park North and the Burbank Community Gardens, is as cozy, comfortable, and intimate as its name suggests.
The vibes are immaculate, and the bartenders and crowd are as amiable as ever; this atmosphere makes The Snug one of the most fun places to go out in Burbank because you’ll feel like a friend very quickly.
I appreciate their lengthy list of draft and bottled beer, but you can also get some tasty, simple mixed drinks if you’d like.

If you’re wondering where to get a drink with inviting seating and a seductive, moody vibe, check out The Blue Room, a cool dive bar near Joaquin Miller Park.
The Blue Room is one of my favorite cocktail bars in Burbank due to the great selection of music on the jukebox, live music on Thursday nights, and a long patio perfect for intimate date nights.
Good wine, beer, and cocktails are all available here, but I usually opt for a cabernet sauvignon on Thursday music nights or a long island iced tea on the weekends.

Inkwell Tavern, a bar, and grill located near Robert R. Ovrom Park and Community Center, is a fun place to go for friendly people, tasty cocktails, and delicious bar bites.
My friends and I like to come here when we’re in the mood to share because they have several yummy shareable options on the menu, like twice-fried wings, waffle fried, or a roasted brie wheel with roasted grapes and fig jam!
If you want a casual night with good, friendly vibes and no drama, The Inkwell is your best bet.

This relaxing, lovable bar has a nice terrace, perfect for enjoying the beautiful Southern Californian weather.
It’s near many office buildings, so it’s also an ideal spot for after-work drinks.
Regardless of when or why you go, I recommend ordering the 43 Monkeys cocktail or the Spiced Coconut Cold Brew when you do.

Nineteen26 Bar & Lounge, near the Arbat Banquet Hall and within the SpringHill Suites by Marriott hotel, is a sophisticated lounge offering beer, wine, and cocktails in a cozy couch-filled setting.
The first time I walked in, I fell in love immediately, thanks to Marilyn Monroe’s pop art and contemporary interior design.
In terms of drinks, I enjoy the Field of Flowers, with lavender and lemon juice, or the Garden Spritz, with Ketel One Grapefruit rose.
Chinar Restaurant and Lounge

Located in McNeil near Burbank Community Gardens, Chinar Restaurant, and Lounge offers a simple yet inviting, green-filled space and fresh, tasty Armenian and Mediterranean fare.
I enjoy their wide selection of whiskey, which makes it easy to order a different “style” of Old Fashioned each time I go.
Plus, their margaritas are phenomenal as well, which I wasn’t exactly expecting.
In terms of food, they have a good amount of seafood options like BBQ sturgeon and salmon, but I typically go for the chicken or pork kabobs.

Barney’s Beanery has a popular location in West Hollywood, but I like the vibe of this Burbank one even more.
Located by the Flappers Comedy Club, Barney’s Beanery is a bright, vibrant, and dynamic restaurant and sports bar that welcomes all kinds of people, making it a great place to watch the game.
If you’re not into sports, you may still end up there to play pool, sing karaoke, eat their tasty spicy chicken sandwich, or simply relax with a cold beer.
Story Tavern

Story Tavern, near the Sunset Canyon Country Club gate, is one of my favorite spots to go in Burbank for the simple fact that there’s a game room!
I love going to this bar with a handful of pals to rotate between ping pong, foosball, shuffleboard, and darts.
All of these actions always make us hungry and thirsty.
Fortunately, they have a great menu filled with delicious tacos, nachos, mussels, and classic cocktails.
