After visiting Fort Wayne, I came up with this list of the best bars in Fort Wayne, Indiana, so that you can go straight to the best ones when you’re wondering where to get a drink.

Deer Park Irish Pub

If you’re looking for a genuine Irish pub experience, go to Deer Park Irish Pub. The bar is cozy and inviting, with dark wood accents, Irish flags, and live music on the weekends.

The beer selection makes the pub the number one craft beer bar in Indiana, with both domestic and imported options.

My favorite item to order with a specialty beer is firestick pretzels.

The Brass Rail

The Brass Rail is a dive bar with dim lighting and live music almost every night. The drinks are cheap, and the food is also affordable bar fare.

The best part about The Brass Rail is the atmosphere. Everyone feels welcome, and you can quickly start a conversation with someone new.

The menu has typical bar snacks and more unique options like Cheese nerds.

Paul Kushner

I have always had a deep interest in the restaurant and bar industry. My restaurant experience began in 1997 at the age of 14 as a bus boy. By the time I turned 17 I was serving tables, and by 19 I was bartending/bar managing 6-7 nights a week.

In 2012, after a decade and a half of learning all facets of the industry, I opened my first restaurant/bar. In 2015, a second location followed, the latter being featured on The Food Network’s Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.
