If you’re looking for fun places to go out, you can’t beat The Roger Room. This Los Angeles icon is just a mile and a half from Sunset Boulevard and offers a vast array of classic cocktails like Old Fashioneds.
With dim lighting and a sophisticated bar atmosphere, The Roger Room delivers.
Capri Club

You’ll find Capri Club just a few blocks away from Occidental College. It’s a hip bar with an old-school, fun flair and reasonably priced drinks.

Melody is a fun and funky little pop-up wine bar right near the Bellvue Recreation Center. If you’re looking for a reprieve from your regular going-out options, it’s a good choice.

This cute neighborhood cocktail joint is one of the best bars in Los Angeles, California. It’s right near Echo Park and super easy to get to.
One of the things I love about Thunderbolt is how friendly everyone is. You’ll walk in, make new friends, and enjoy some of Thunderbolt’s classic and delicious cocktails.

Two blocks from Santa Monica Boulevard in East Hollywood, you’ll find Bolita. This classic cocktail bar takes some of its cues from Cuban food.

Genever is right in the heart of Rampart Village and is the last word in a chill, relaxing atmosphere and great cocktails.
Although everything on the menu is top-notch, I personally recommend the “Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark,” an inspired combination of whiskey, scotch, bitters, and a delicate dollop of honey.
Pijja Palace

Across the street from the Museum of Jurassic Technology, you’ll stumble into Bar Bohemien. This hip but welcoming spot has some inventive cocktails and is a good choice for happy hour.
The Fire & Rain is a solid choice, with a nice spicy burn on end. If you like more floral drinks, try the La Boheme.

APOTHEKE LOS ANGELES is just a block from Los Angeles State Historical Park and serves up gorgeous, Insta-worthy drinks like the Cosmonaut.
Get to this bar if you’re a cocktail nerd or want to try something new and exciting. Although it tends to get crowded, once you taste their drinks, you’ll understand why people love this spot.

Right near Wilshire La Brea Dog Relief Park. All Season Brewing Company is one of Los Angeles’ staple bars and restaurants.
It’s a fun and quirky place full of video games, pinball machines, and fantastic beers. Although the music is loud, the atmosphere is still comfortable, and you can carry on a good conversation.
Akbar

Akbar is right on Sunset Boulevard, one of Los Angeles’ number-one gay bars. The vibe in Akbar is always comfortable and welcoming, with a robust dance floor and a huge drinks selection.

Just a few blocks from the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Desert 5 Spot is a fantastic place to go if you want to enjoy the balmy Los Angeles weather and do some people-watching.
The rooftop is fabulous, and they generally have some live music playing. Desert 5 Spot is famous for fabulous cocktails with exciting ingredients like matcha.

Grandmaster Recorders is a short walk from the Capitol Records Building and has some of the best food and cocktails in all of Los Angeles.
If you go on the weekends, you’ll probably run into crowds, but it’s more than worth the wait. My favorites include their vegan pasta, focaccia, and risotto.
Midnight Vultures is a wickedly good drink with mezcal and Campari if you’re thirsty.
Black Rabbit Rose Magic

Bar Flores is very close to Dodger Stadium and the place to go before or after the game for super fresh cocktails and an excellent atmosphere.
Bar Flores gives visitors good renditions of the basics. Their margaritas are incredible, and the Campari Jungle Bird cocktail is great too.
