Often known as the Heart of the Gold Coast, Pompano Beach is one of my favorite places on the east Florida coast.

It’s a great vacation spot for outdoor activities, and you can go shopping in the city or check out one of the seafood festivals.

The best way to end a day of busy activities in Pompano Beach is by visiting the area’s bars.

It’s a great place to have a good time, and they feature food trucks, trivia nights, and live music.

When I go, I like to choose from their rotating seasonal brews, like Apple Cider or Belgian Golden Ale.

Head south to Palm Aire and visit Circus Bar, a Pompano Beach staple since 1978.

It’s a no-frills pub with hearty meals, TV sports, and daily drink deals.

I recommend heading there for Whiskey Wednesday, when you can score deals on whiskey and bourbon. Don’t forget to try the wings!


Infinity Lounge

Infinity Lounge is another one of my favorite places, and it’s a martini bar with a trendy vibe.

The spot is in the Wilton Manors neighborhood, not far from Fort Lauderdale, so head over and grab a drink.

Check out their sparkling wine from France or the caffeine-charged Expresso Martini.

It’s a welcoming, laid-back place with a beach theme and waterfront outdoor seating.

Local brewers supply the beer at this casual spot, and you can order fresh-caught fish of the day.

I also like to get a bowl of shrimp pasta when I’m there.


Gold Club Pompano – Gentlemen’s Club

Gold Club Pompano is a men’s club in the northwest part of Pompano Beach. It has a stacked drinks menu and a bustling, loud vibe.

I like to go on Sundays for Bloody Marys and live music.

It’s a cozy, maritime-themed place, and the bar is right by the coastline off E Atlantic Blvd highway.
