There’s no place like the Siesta Key Oyster Bar or “SKOB”, as it’s known by the locals, for that laidback, beachy feeling that will get you right into the “Island Spirit” you seek when visiting Siesta Key.

I really loved this place, so I’ll be coming back soon. When I was here I ordered the Lavender Mojito with Siesta Key White Rum, muddled lime, fresh mint, lavender simple syrup & a splash of soda. Some other drinks that the bartender recommended were the Pain Reliever, Blue Basil Mule, or Coconut Margarita.

Located on the west end of Stickney Point Road, just over the bridge, you’ll find a new old friend…

The South Siesta Key Daiquiri Deck Raw Bar offers the same casual atmosphere and an unparalleled selection of taste-tempting Frozen Daiquiris you’ve come to know and love – just a bit closer to the mainland.

My favorite drink is the Bushwacker with coffee, chocolate, cream & coconut blended with vodka. Or you can try the Mai Tai, Rum Runner Roxx, and Loaded Bloodies.

A local favorite since 1997, Cynthia Breslin has owned and operated Blase Cafe and Martini Bar for 23 years and counting. Her artsy and unique style has radiated into a fantastic Siesta Key restaurant.

You can sip martinis, and enjoy a fresh and locally sourced dinner all while checking out the beautiful art decorating the walls of our bar and dining room.

I got the Espresso Martini which has Smirnoff vanilla, coffee liquor, espresso, Baileys Irish cream, and coffee beans! Other drinks I would recommend are the Blase Old Fashion, Siesta Killer, and Room Number 9.

The Espresso Nestled in a cozy corner at the northern end of the Siesta Key Village, Island House Tap & Grill offers a one-of-a-kind local scratch kitchen with big tastes and an extensive array of craft beers on tap and exciting canned libations.

This is one of the most popular bars in the area, so you’ll be sure to have a good time. I ordered a few drinks, but my favorite ended up being the Barrel-Aged Czar Face.

When they sat down to think about it, there was no true sports bar on Siesta Key. Somewhere you could grab a draft beer, a plate of hot wings, and catch your favorite sporting event. They decided to fix that.

MVP features both inside and covered outdoor sections for our bar and restaurant seating, along with an open-air deck by the street – great for people watching.

If you stop by this place, I would recommend trying the Old Fashioned;  High West American Prairie Whiskey, orange bitters, muddled orange, and cherry. Other drinks that caught my eye were the Grapefruit Mule, Cucumber Tini, and Lemon Basil Tini. I’ll be ordering those next time I pop into this spot!
