Spring Lounge is the quintessential dive bar, located just streets away from Little Italy. The bar has been open for over a century, beginning as a speakeasy in the 1920s.
With over ten beers on tap and a range of cocktails, the bartenders are happy to make any drink you have in mind.
The Spring Lounge’s a great stop to enjoy the ambiance and history.
La Compagnie des Vins Surnaturels

La Compagnie des Vin Surnaturels is a classy and upscale wine bar. Located in the heart of Soho, it is steps away from New York University.
Their wine menu is over 50 pages long, but my favorite part of this bar is its food. You can create a cheese board with charcuterie, making the perfect pairing with their selection of wine.
Mother’s Ruin

Mother’s Ruin is a laidback bar with a range of delicious cocktails. A crowd favorite is the Hot & Bothered, which is a slushy made with tequila.
Located on Spring Street, it’s a great stop for food and drinks before enjoying music at the Bowery Ballroom.

If you’re looking for a fun place to get drinks, one of my personal favorites is Houston Hall. It’s a beer hall that’s located in a huge space by Hudson Square, which you don’t often see in NYC.
Try one of their many draft beers, and visit them on weekdays for great deals at happy hour.
