One of my favorite bars in St. Petersburg is Ruby’s Elixir. The atmosphere at this bar is electric, and the drinks are incredible. They have a wide variety of cocktails, spirits, wine, and beers. However, the star of the show is whiskey and bourbon. The selection of whiskey and bourbon rivals that of a high-class whiskey bar.
Park & Rec DTSP is a fun, unique bar experience in St. Petersburg. The best way to describe it is an outdoor bar and playground. The cocktails here are delicious, and the bar games are a blast. The bar has giant Jenga, cornhole, and other games to keep you entertained. It’s a great spot for happy hour or a night out with friends.
Ringside Cafe has some of the best live music in St. Petersburg. The bar has a dive bar feel with cheap drinks and a great atmosphere. The live music ranges from rock to blues, and there’s often a dance floor for those feeling a little more energetic. The atmosphere at Ringside is always excellent, and I encourage you to go there for happy hour. The deals are incredible.
The Mandarin Hide is the original cocktail bar in St. Petes located in the heart of downtown, just east of Pioneer Park. The attention to detail here is impeccable, from the hand-cut ice cubes in your drink to the beautiful presentation of the cocktails. The vibe here is upscale and sophisticated, perfect for a special occasion or date night. The drinks are definitely worth the price.
If you’re looking for a traditional Irish pub in St. Petersburg, look no further than MacDinton’s. The bar is located a few blocks northeast of HCA Florida South Tamps Hospital. It has a wide selection of beers on tap and Irish whiskey. The best part about MacDinton’s is the outdoor seating area, where you can relax and enjoy a cold beer on a nice day.
If you are like me, there are few things better than a drink on the beach. Undertow Beach Bar is the best place to do just that. This bar has an incredible view of St Pete beach, and they have a great selection of cocktails and beers. The best part about Undertow is the laid-back atmosphere and the live music on certain nights. Make sure you make it here for sunset.
The Ale and the Witch is a unique bar in St. Petersburg, primarily a craft beer bar. They have an ever-rotating selection of craft beers on tap and in cans, focusing on local Florida breweries. In addition to the excellent craft beer, there is live music several nights a week. Check out their website for a schedule of the upcoming performers.
The Birchwood Canopy is the finest rooftop bar in St. Petersburg. The bar has a chic, contemporary design with stunning city views. The cocktails here are exceptional, and there is also a small selection of wine and beer. The best time to go is during sunset when you can watch the sky turn pink and orange over the city skyline. It’s a beautiful, romantic spot for a date night and just a fun place to go out with friends in general.
If you’re looking for a unique cocktail experience, the Copper Shaker is the place to go. This intimate bar has handcrafted cocktails and an extensive menu of drinks. The best part about the Copper Shaker is the tableside mixology, where a bartender will come to your table and create a custom cocktail based on your preferences. It’s definitely worth the splurge for a special evening out.
Flute & Dram is the best spot for a fancy night out. The bar has an elegant atmosphere and specializes in champagne, whiskey, and caviar. The bartenders here are knowledgeable and can help you pick the perfect drink. Make sure to try one of their champagne cocktails. They are truly exceptional.
Sometimes all you need in life is some live music, the sunset, and a cold drink in your hand. Jimmy B’s Beach Bar combines all three of those things. This casual beach bar has live music every night, a fun atmosphere, and a decent selection of drinks. I recommend their golden margarita or any of their other signature cocktails.
Bongos Beach Bar and Grille is one of the most fun places to get drinks in St. Petes. This beach bar has a laid-back atmosphere, live music, and great drinks. The best thing about Bongos is its menu, which includes a delicious selection of seafood, tacos, and burgers. It’s the perfect spot for a casual day or evening at the beach.
