One of the most fun places to get a drink in Stockton is Finnegan’s Irish Pub & Restaurant. The bar is right by the Sherwood Mall Shopping Center and San Joaquin Delta College. It has all the classic pub foods and drinks. There are also plenty of TVs for sports and pool tables.

I love craft beer, and Fat City Brew is one of the best bars to go to if you do too. The bar is between downtown and the University of the Pacific. Besides the huge variety of craft beer, they also serve amazing BBQs like St. Louis ribs and pulled pork, so come hungry.
Captain’s Anchor

Captain’s Anchor is in Thornton Plaza in northern Stockton. It opened in 1984 and has one of the most friendly, cheery vibes of all the bars in the city. I love the drink specials, which vary every day, and they are a good way to change your drink order. Get to know the bartenders here… I love them all!

Market Tavern is in Lincoln Village, north of downtown Stockton. I love Market Tavern because they have weekend brunch and an awesome dessert menu. If the weather is nice, grab a drink out on their patio. They have a large variety of wines, beer, and cocktails.

One of the fun places to go out in Stockton for delicious food and drinks is the Misaki Sushi & Bar. Misaki is in the heart of downtown, and they are a full-service restaurant. The food and drinks here are unbeatable, but even better is their happy hour. They have drink and food specials on weekdays from 4 to 6 PM.

Another one of the best bars in Stockton, California, is Chili’s Grill & Bar, which is underrated! It is right by the Weberstown Mall, and they have unbeatable drink specials. If you want to drink for cheap, come to Chili’s. They have ongoing drink specials and happy hours every day of the week. They also have a large food menu.

Port City Sports Bar & Grill is one of my favorite places to go out to catch a sporting event. The bar is right by the Weber Point Events Center in downtown Stockton. They have a great pizza menu which goes perfectly with a cold beer. They also have a lot of good appetizers if you want something to munch on while you drink.

Gordo’s is a crazy, fun nightclub in the northeastern part of downtown, and I love to come here on the weekends. There are many things to do here, including dart boards, pool tables, and great music. And, the staff is super friendly and can help you choose a drink if you need help.

Cast Iron Trading Co. is one of my favorite bars in downtown Stockton, not just because of their drinks. They serve great food, including burgers, tacos, and breakfast. They have a good variety of craft beer which I love, and coffee if you need a boost.

CAPs Pizza and Tap House is in Lincoln Village in the Hammer Ranch Center. Let’s be honest, there’s not much that beats a cold beer and pizza, and here is the perfect place to get just that. They also have a lot of other foods and desserts to enjoy after a few drinks.

Taps Barrel House is just north of downtown near Fat City Brew & BBQ. Taps is another place I highly recommend for craft beer, as they have 28 taps with local beers. They rotate their beer regularly, so there is always something new to try. There are also sandwiches and other food here.

Last but certainly not least is the Black Rabbit which is my go-to for where to get a drink if I want a delicious cocktail. Check out their happy hour for drink specials like discounted cocktails, draft beer, and wine. I highly recommend the Lady in Red which is a tequila cocktail.
