Just minutes from Georgia Tech is The Painted Duck. This nightlife spot is popular with college students and people of all ages. Well, for those over the legal drinking age. It’s a high-end bar with bowling and other fun games to play. The drinks you can sip on while playing your games of choice at The Painted Duck are everything from beer to wine to liquor. I tend to go with a local beer while I game, but sharing a pitcher or bottle of wine with friends is always a good time too.

Joystick Gamebar is in Downtown Atlanta, just a few minutes on foot from the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Park. It’s a vintage game lover’s dream. They have everything from modern games to classic Pac-Man, pinball machines, and more. Their bar menu is a little smaller than some other bars around, but it’s a small place, so that’s to be expected. Of all the menu items, you can’t come here without getting one of their gin blackberry bramble slushies.

Revery: VR Bar is less than two miles from Peachtree Center in Downtown Atlanta. This bar with games is the perfect place to gather with friends and meet new ones. You can play VR games, dance to live music, and enjoy great drinks. The drinks you can sip on as you play range from ice-cold beers to fun cocktails. All their cocktails are fun, and they break it down from sweet to strong. I love the Bywater baby, but their $7 shots are a great option too.

They have bowling, arcade games, ping pong, and more. As for the drinks, they have everything under the sun, but as the name might suggest, it’s hard to come here and not get a punch bowl. They come in various recipes and are the perfect drink for sharing with friends while you play.

If you’re looking for the best bars with games in Atlanta and an upscale bowling alley in Peachtree Hills, The Painted Pin is the place to be. It’s probably one of the most excellent bowling alleys I’ve ever been to, plus they have a game courtyard. The drinks and food here are definitely worth having while you play. They have wine, beer, and delicious cocktails. They have classic cocktails like Negroni, whiskey sour, and others.

Ormsby’s is out in Blandtown, just west of Downtown Atlanta. It’s not within walking distance of Georgia Tech but pretty close. This modern bar features pool tables, dart boards, indoor putting greens, and more. It’s casual and lively. The menu at Ormsby’s is fantastic. I love all their appetizers, specifically the spinach and artichoke dip. Regardless of what you order, you can grab any type of drink at the bar. I recommend going with a locally brewed beer.

My Parents’ Basement is out in Avondale, east of Decatur, Georgia. It’s a little out of the way if you’re staying Downtown, but it’s worth it. It’s a cozy, family-run business with cards, board games, and a great comic book store. They have wine and liquor on their menu, but most people come here to enjoy a variety of beers. They have a larger selection and even offer gluten-free beers for those who can’t enjoy traditional beer.

You’ll head to Sandy Springs, closer to Marietta, to find Battle and Brew. It’s your classic modern gastropub with Xbox and other video games, trivia, and weekly tournaments. You’ll love it here if you want to kick back and relax with a great drink while playing your favorite video games. While you play your favorite games, you can sip on your favorite drinks. They have a wide selection of mixed shots, beer, cocktails, and mocktails.

Right in Blandtown is the gigantic Topgolf. It’s a several-story bar and restaurant that allows you to play different golf games, pool, and other arcade games under one roof. Their menu features classic American food in between swings and even better cocktails, beer, and wine. Some of my favorite drinks to order include the Topgolf tea, their sangria, or the tipsy Palmer.

Puttshack is near Georgia Tech, near a bunch of other restaurants, bars, and bars with games. It’s the perfect bar to hit while bar hopping or after a meal when you want to play arguably one of the most incredible games of mini golf out there. While smoking the competition, you can enjoy one of their cocktails or a draft beer. I love the cold brew espresso martini, the spiced pineapple margarita, and the peach tea on Peachtree.

You’ll find Sister Louisa’s just down the street from Dad’s Garage Theatre, east of Downtown. This bar is considered among the best bars with games in Atlanta by locals due to its versatility and entertainment edge. It has also become a favorite for people visiting Atlanta as it’s welcoming and a great place to hang out. They have a small menu, but I promise you’ll find something to enjoy here. You can go with a beer, but they have two alcoholic slushies I think are worth a try. The Body of Christ slushie is my favorite.

Fowling Warehouse is in Blandtown, near Topgolf. It’s another bar with games, particularly a unique take on bowling. Instead of a bowling ball, you use a football to throw at bowling pins. They also have a selection of other smaller games. Now for the menu. They have delicious food to munch on, but the drinks are top-notch here. Their vast beer and cider selection and the cocktails are perfectly made.

If you drive to Alpharetta, you’ll find one of the best bars with games in Atlanta, The Roaring Social. This awesome bar has games and has been voted one of the best date night spots in Atlanta and the surrounding areas. This speakeasy-style bar is elegant but still reasonably laid-back. You can go bowling here and then dance the night away. The drinks are similar to what you’d find in a speakeasy but also classic options like beer, wine, and mixed drinks.
