There’s also thriving nightlife in the “City of Gracious Living,” and as a bar enthusiast, I’m excited to share my top picks for the best bars in Yonkers, New York, below!

Bronx Alehouse

Located near the Bailey Playground, Bronx Alehouse is one of the most fun places to go out in Yonkers because there are plenty of arcade games and TVs to watch sports.

This bar also has great wings, smoked ribs, and quesadillas, all swimmingly alongside the ice-cold beers they serve.

Heritage is an Irish-inspired bar and restaurant near the Chief Nimham Memorial with a welcoming feel that makes it seem like you’re dining in the comfort of your own home.

I love that you can get breakfast all day here, so I can have a beer next to my French toast and eggs in the late afternoon!

GO SPORTS BAR & LOUNGE

289 S Broadway, Yonkers, NY 10705

If you’re looking for a sports bar with a moody lounge style, look no further than GO SPORTS BAR near Break Rage adventure sports.

This bar is a nice choice for beers, fancy cocktails, and even bottle service, making it a fun spot for celebrating events with your closest friends.

Rory Dolan’s Restaurant & Bar

890 McLean Ave, Yonkers, NY 10704
Phone: (914) 776-2946
Visit Website

Rory Dolan’s Restaurant & Bar, next to the Woodlawn Playground, is a classic-style Irish pub doling out traditional meals like Shepherd’s Pie and drinks like Guinness and Irish Coffee.

However, they have some alternatives to Irish fare, too, as you can grab a mimosa, fried calamari, and chicken curry – some of my favorite menu items.

McKeon’s Bar and Restaurant

996 McLean Ave, Yonkers, NY 10704
Phone: (914) 530-2386
Visit Website

McKeon’s Bar and Restaurant is another Irish pub with a similar vibe to Rory’s, mentioned above, and is in the same Woodlawn Heights area.

However, Mckeon’s has a much more intimate, cozy, and traditional feel. Get a Guinness alongside their pot roast, and you won’t be disappointed!

The Hole In The Wall Bar

If you’re wondering where to get a drink in the Centuck area, check out The Hole In The Wall Bar, a fun, chilled-out watering hole with great prices on various standard drinks.

I recommend it for people who recently moved to the Yonkers area, as it’s a local spot and a great place to meet longer-term friends, perhaps over the pool table or a game of darts.
