Situated in the historic Mississippi District, Prost! offers Portland an inviting neighborhood pub as a gathering place for friends, great bier, and authentic German food.

My favorite drink is the Bitburger Pilsner with sweet malt followed by a complex dry hoppy finish. Or you can try the Fruh Kölsch, Benediktiner Weiss, and Franziskaner Weissbier.

Mad Hanna, your neighborhood living room, drinks are cold and the welcome is warm. Need a laugh or ear to bend, swing on by and you’ll find it. Freshly squeezed juice and house infused liquors mean delicious hand made cocktails. Enjoy a conversation in the sunny backyard or stay inside for pool, video lottery, jukebox, and sass from the best bartenders in town.

My friends tried the Pineapple-Vanilla Rum, Strawberry Tequila, and The Grey Gardens and loved them! I had the Sweet Tea Whiskey with sweet tea infused whisky topped with soda and a slice of lemon and it was delicious!

Tropicale is a small business which has specialized in Caribbean bar concepts since 2015 in Portland, Oregon. Tropicale develops and creates unique fusion experiences in the food, drink, and entertainment industry through delicious and remarkable cocktails and small bites. They combine traditional Latin recipes with contemporary creativity to deliver a unique cross-cultural experience.

On my visit I tried the Xicha Mexican Lager. It was absolutely amazing so I definitely recommend ordering this. Other drinks that sounded great were the Tecate, Negra Modelo, and Pacifico.


Adda Beer

Craft Beer Garden Taproom located inside Rose City Food Park. Mainly focused on Micro brews, Cider, Wine from Oregon and the NW. Outdoor Live music, and Non Profit event space.

This is one of the most popular bars in the area, so you’ll be sure to have a good time. I ordered a few drinks, but my favorite ended up being the Block 15.


Captured Beer Bus

The Captured Beer Bus is an outdoor beer garden featuring local and regional craft beer served from the side of a 1973 School Bus. The Beer Bus opened in 2011 and has been highlighted in Sunset, The Oregonian and The New York Times.

This spot served up some of the best drinks I’ve had and was so much fun. I came here with a group of friends and ordered the Gold Beach Lager. My friends ordered the Vienna Lager and Gigantic Nitro Stout.


Little Beast Brewing Beer Garden

Their year-round southeast Portland beer garden welcomes guests to enjoy their beer in the distinctive setting of an old Craftsman home, with a lush patio, front lawn and relaxing front porch. Their Clackamas Brewery Tasting Room features twelve taps and an intimate setting in which to experience their craft straight from the source.

This spot has always been on my list of best bars. Whenever I’m here I get the same drink, the Tree Spirit – Foeder Ale with cherries.


Deschutes Brewery Portland Public House

Their Pub’s distinct Northwest style brings a taste of Central Oregon to the heart of Portland and is a popular destination for great beer, delicious food and a relaxed urban atmosphere. The brew pub’s 26 taps feature Deschutes mainstays plus a selection of seasonal and experimental beers developed and brewed on site exclusively for the Portland pub by their brewers.

We dropped by this spot one night and had a blast! If you end up visiting this bar, I would try the Obsidian Stout, Move Maker Cold IPA, or The Dissident Peach.


The Growler Guys

The Growler Guys isn’t your average growler-filling station – they are Portland’s go-to spot for tasting the best fresh craft beer & cider in town! With 55 taps, The Growler Guys is the perfect place to sample many of the best craft beers & ciders around. And they serve Kombucha on tap! They’ve got pints & taster trays for you to enjoy on-site and you can fill up a growler to take home.

My all time favorite drink at this spot is the Wiener Lager. I also tried the White Peach Sour and Vanilla Orange Cream Ale which were equally as good.


McMenamins Fulton Pub & Brewery

For fans of their beloved Hammerhead Ale, know ye this: legend has it that the brew’s hallowed recipe was perfected here.

Actually, Fulton Pub dates back to 1926, when it was a Prohibition-era casual dining for the entire family, either indoors in their cozy pub or outside on their garden patio.


Rogue Eastside Pub & Pilot Brewery

Rogue Eastside Pub & Pilot Brewery is home to 36 Rogue taps along with 19 taps that belong to their fellow independent breweries. Try them all, grab a meal, and enjoy their spacious, dog-friendly patio or host a party in their free private event space.

When I came to this spot my friends ordered the Dead Guy Ale, Newport Daze, and Knuckle Buster. I went for the Morimoto Soba Ale which was absolutely amazing.


Bloodbuzz

Beverage cart located in the Prost! Marketplace serving espresso, beer, cocktails, and assorted non-alcoholic drink.

My favorite drink on the menu is their Gigantic Sassy Pony Pale Ale. Other drinks that looked amazing were the Still Grapefruit Radler, Breakside Rainbows & Unicorns, and Crux Farmhouse Saison.
