The city offers a wide variety of options for those hoping to taste some of the city’s best offerings.

Whether you like smaller, cozier bars or larger modern spaces, there is something on this list for everyone.

I can’t recommend exploring this city’s beer gardens enough!


Spark Social SF

It’s in the heart of the city and incredibly convenient for those living in or visiting the area.

Spark Social is known for its laid-back atmosphere.

It’s a large, bus-size food truck that’s situated among many other incredible food truck options.

You can get a drink and food at Spark Social SF and explore the many other food and dessert options nearby.

One of the things they’re best known for is their sangria garden.

They also offer a wide variety of wraps, burritos, and salads.

It has a very large collection of beers to offer, including local favorites and international options.

They are also known for their pub food, including burgers and fries.

I recommend the Hard Kombucha if you’re looking for something different from your ales or IPAs.

I highly recommend coming here with a few friends and enjoying the beautiful interior, food, and drinks.

The menu has so many good options that it’s definitely hard to choose, but the Banh Mi with sage fries and the Queen Mary were my favorites.

Biergarten is a German-style beer garden that is located on Octavia Street.

It has a very large outdoor area with string lights, picnic tables, and a huge amount of space for 100+ people.

The main attraction is, of course, the beer they have on offer.

Some are traditional German beers, like Bavarian Hefeweizen (it comes highly recommended!), while others are local craft beers that you may be familiar with if you live in the area.

Their beer pairs well with their German-style pretzels. You can’t go wrong with the fried Brie and the Lo-Fi Grapefruit Hibiscus Spritz.

The unusually-named Drake’s Dealership has a beer garden and a full-size restaurant in Oakland, California.

They offer amazing beers and wood-fired pizza in a truly memorable setting.

Their outdoor space is carefully curated with large tables and plenty of open space.

If you want to make sure you have a spot for a chosen night out, they also take reservations.

Don’t have time to hang around the restaurant? You can also order their food for takeout.
