It’s a casual neighborhood spot popular among college students and locals, and you can expect some fun live music events, delicious pub grub, some arcade games, and a friendly atmosphere. The Bang Bang Bar is in the North Shearer Hills area, near El Mio Drive and San Pedro Avenue.

If you’re wondering where to get a drink in the Arboretum area, 502 Bar is my top pick. With over 30 different beers on draft, it’s one of the best spots for craft beer and live music. Options include sour and fruity beers, classic stouts, and small-batch IPAs. The bar is on Embassy Oaks, off Highway 281. The area has plenty of fun entertainment options, including a bowling alley, movie theater, and miniature golf.

I love the laid-back atmosphere and can’t think of a better sports bar in San Antonio. The bar is inside a beautiful 19th-century building on E.
