The Gladly is my top recommendation if you’re wondering where to get a drink in the Biltmore Area. The whiskey bar is a great spot for chatting and relaxing with your date, and the contemporary setting can make your night out feel sophisticated. The food menu is a modern take on American fare. Discovering food and whiskey pairings is a fun and unique experience that will make your date memorable! The Gladly is on E Camelback Road, next to the Town and Country Shopping Center.

It’s one of my favorite fun places to go out for a date in downtown Phoenix with its creative food menu and an impressive selection of spirits. This popular bistro offers daily happy hour specials on classic, exotic cocktails, including sangrias, mojitos, or margaritas. I also recommend trying the house wine for something different. You’ll find Fuego at the Clarendon in Midtown, on the corner of W Clarendon Avenue and N 4th Avenue. The Steele Indian School Park is within walking distance.

Finding a more welcoming neighborhood hangout is more difficult than the Vig Fillmore. This pub serves great food and cool drinks and occasionally offers live music events. With a menu that includes tacos, salads, and sandwiches, there is something for everyone. I recommend the signature cocktails, but the Vig also has an excellent wine list and some popular brunch drinks, including a fun build-your-own mimosa. The Vig Fillmore is in Downtown Phoenix, near W Fillmore Street and N 4th Avenue.

If you’re looking for fun places to get drinks for a date, I recommend the Grand. This popular spot offers three rooms with three distinct atmospheres: a speakeasy, a modern space inspired by a ghost ship, and a main room with Victorian-inspired decor. Exploring these different spaces makes for a memorable date, and each room offers drinks that go with the theme. The Grand is on N Central Avenue, a few blocks from the ASU campus.
