Happy Hour Deals: Tuesday to Thursday from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm, 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm, 10:00 to 11:00 pm – half-price rolls. Wednesday at 5:00 pm – $3 cali roll, $3 nigiri, $3 single item, and $4 funky charlie. Tuesday & Wednesday all day – $3 schooners. Tuesdays – $3 burgers.

Ruth’s Chris Steak House is a popular chain restaurant across the states, but the one in Downtown Salt Lake City is one of my favorites due to its elegant setting and excellent service.

Of course, I also love their happy hours and tend to order a martini every time I go. It’s a great spot for the best-value date night.

Happy Hour Deals: Monday to Sunday from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm – $9 select food, $7 martini, manhattan, margarita, mojito drink, wines, and $3 beers.


Piper Down Pub

Piper Down Pub, in Liberty Wells near the Japan-Sage Market, is one of the most fun places to get drinks in Salt Lake City due to its lighthearted atmosphere, fire pits, and live music nights.

They have a diverse menu with a wide range of food and drinks, so it’s unsurprising that they have one of the lengthiest happy hour deals every weekday.

Happy Hour Deals: Monday lunch – $8 bangers and mash. Monday at 8:00 pm – $4 Pints of Regimental Red. Tuesday all day – $5 for 3 pieces of Street tacos (Meat or Beyond Beef) and $1.00 Hard Shell Tacos. Tuesday at 8:00 pm – $4 Pints of Regimental Red. Purgatory Bar, located just south of Downtown near Washington Square Park, is a popular bar with a sleek, contemporary feel and hipster vibes.

I love their Japanese croquettes, so I was so excited when I found out that they’re on the happy hour menu!

In terms of drinks, you can’t go wrong with their Bloody Mary.

Happy Hour Deals: Tuesday to Saturday from 4:00 pm to 6:30 – $10 fries, $3 baked dynamite onigi, $3 buff balls, $4 japanese croquettes, $4 grilled kurobuta, $5 ghetto ramen, and $4 cheeseburger with fries.

Post Office Place is a simple, modern bar and restaurant on the corner of Market St and Main St. Their snacks are delightful, especially their ceviche, crab sliders, and pickled egg.

I love that you can get some of these well-presented upscale bar bites for as little as $4 during happy hour.
