With seven beers on draft and more canned and bottled beers, it’s also popular among beer lovers. Sangria on the Burg is in the Oak Hills area, near the corner of Fredericksburg Road and Callaghan Road.

Happy Hour Deals: Tuesday to Sunday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. – $3 to $7 starters and $3 to $9 featured drink specials.

The bar offers draft beer, classic cocktails, sake, and wine. I highly recommend the Cherrity Bar because the establishment supports a new charity monthly. You can have fun while supporting a good cause! You’ll find this bar on Montana Street, across from the Alamodome.

Many beers on draft come from local breweries, but you can also find brews from New York and Colorado, along with European imports. The Hoppy Monk is north of the Hollywood Park neighborhood, along N Loop 1604 E across the Methodist Hospital.

I love the laid-back atmosphere and diverse food menu, including seafood, sourdough pizza, burgers, and Latin-inspired fare. The bar is located in a beautiful historic building, and the patio is the perfect spot for sipping a cold drink while enjoying the architecture. You’ll find Liberty Bar near S Alamo Street and E Sheridan Street, two blocks from the San Antonio River.

The wine list is one of the best in town, with an impressive selection of champagne and dozens of imports from France and other countries. You can also order specialty cocktails or draft beer. The Maverick Texas Brasserie is on S St Marie Street, within walking distance from King William Park.

Cured is one of my favorite spots for upscale craft cocktails. The chic atmosphere pairs well with the innovative cuisine; the focus on cured meats is an original concept. Regarding drinks, Cured serves cocktails, draft beer, and wine. The staff is extremely knowledgeable about pairing the right beverage with the available cured meats. Cured is in the Tobin Hill area, directly across from the Park at Pearl.

The housemade sangria is one of my favorite drinks, and I also recommend stopping by the Copa Wine Bar during one of the wine & dine events to discover memorable food and drink pairings. The Copa Wine Bar is in Far North Central, not far from the intersection of Stone Oak Parkway and Huebner Road.

The Bombay Bicycle Club is one of my favorite places to go out in San Antonio. With its kitschy decor, this bar feels colorful and eclectic, and the events and bar games always create a fun atmosphere. The food falls under the pub grub category with burgers, nachos, and other classics. I recommend trying the house cocktails if you’re in the mood for something bold. The Bombay Bicycle Club is on N St Mary’s Street in River Road, next to the Polo Fields Golf Center.

The bar serves cocktails made with local liquors, but there is also a good beer selection and an extensive wine list. The St. Anthony Hotel is in downtown San Antonio on Navarro and E Travis Street, across from Travis Park.

I recommend exploring the wine list that features imports from Chile, Argentina, and Spain. The spirit selection includes port, cognac, brandy, and more. It’s also one of my favorite bars for mojitos. There is an entire menu dedicated to mojitos with different flavors. Azuca Nuevo Latino is in Southtown on S Alamo Street, not far from the Yanaguana Garden at Hemisfair.

The bartenders know how to craft beautiful cocktails with fruity or floral flavors. Between the friendly atmosphere and the delicious bar bites with a twist, Picks Bar is the perfect spot for a laid-back night out. Picks Bar is on N Loop 1604, across the highway from Shavano Park and not far from Eisenhower Park.
