Resting on top of the Gaslamp Marriott is Altitude Sky Lounge. Thanks to the vibrant atmosphere, live music, and great drinks, it’s one of the most fun places to go out. You’ll have views of the marina and Petco Park when you’re here. Since this is a popular nightlife spot, bottle service is common here. While you can purchase bottle service, you can also get drinks a la carte. I usually opt for a classic mixed drink like a gin and tonic because it pairs well with all their food.

Their dinner menu is worth checking out and makes for a perfect spot to enjoy a good meal before the rest of the evening.

Away from the hustle and bustle of the city center is Verde Kitchen and Bar. It’s inside a Hilton Garden Inn over in Mission Valley. It’s a Mexican restaurant and bar that perfectly combines laid-back and tasteful. The bar serves Mexican cuisine, so I always want to enjoy a tequila cocktail while I’m here. If tequila isn’t your thing, they have a fully stocked beer, and you can’t go wrong with a local craft beer.

If you’re looking for where to get a drink that embodies that classic Hollywood glamor, La Sala Lounge won’t disappoint. The bar is in the lobby, an icon in La Jolla, and draws visitors who aren’t even staying at the hotel. They serve lunch and dinner here and brunch on the weekends. I always try to visit for brunch because the views and cocktails can’t be beaten. The wine list is extensive, and sharing a bottle of prosecco with friends is common.
