One of the best hotel bars is Top of the Hyatt. Located on the water next to Seaport Village, you can enjoy a cocktail 40 stories above the ground with some of the best views. This upscale bar is the epitome of elegance. Top of the Hyatt has a fully stocked bar so everyone can get something they enjoy. I always suggest going with one of their fantastic cocktails like Chula Vista, Point Loma, or Banker’s Hill.

Resting on top of the Gaslamp Marriott is Altitude Sky Lounge. Thanks to the vibrant atmosphere, live music, and great drinks, it’s one of the most fun places to go out. You’ll have views of the marina and Petco Park when you’re here. Since this is a popular nightlife spot, bottle service is common here. While you can purchase bottle service, you can also get drinks a la carte. I usually opt for a classic mixed drink like a gin and tonic because it pairs well with all their food.

It’s a Mexican restaurant and bar that perfectly combines laid-back and tasteful. The bar serves Mexican cuisine, so I always want to enjoy a tequila cocktail while I’m here. If tequila isn’t your thing, they have a fully stocked beer, and you can’t go wrong with a local craft beer.

The bar and restaurant are named after the hotel’s founders and serve up some delicious food and drinks. Everything here is what they deem approachable and tasty. You can’t leave without trying the best martini in Point Loma. Yes, that’s what it’s called on the menu!

If you’re looking for the best places to go out in San Diego, you can’t miss 207 at the Hard Rock Hotel. You’ll find it downtown, just a block away from Petco Park. The bar is hip but not pretentious. The bar menu here is nothing but impressive. There’s everything you could want on the menu. I usually go with a cocktail like their espresso martini. Still, they also have a great selection of domestic and craft beer.
