Larry’s Lounge, located near Strivers’ Section Historic District, is one of the best lesbian bars in Washington, DC, due to its cozy, laid-back atmosphere with its dim lighting, comfortable seating, and welcoming vibes.
I love bringing my dog here and relaxing with a beer on the outdoor patio or getting a bit quirky indoors in the evenings.
The prices here are quite reasonable, too, so I usually have more than one drink, including beer (Goose Island IPA is my favorite) and wine.

Located near Franklin Park, Green Lantern is one of the most fun places to get drinks for the LGBTQIA+ community.
I especially love attending their 80s nights and dressing up with my friends!
They play the best music, and the atmosphere is always immaculate, with a mix of dive bar and nightclub vibes.
The bartenders are awesome as well, and you may quickly become friends with some of them!
Go for a dance night, a drag show, or just even for an afternoon breakfast sandwich!

Number Nine, near the Whole Foods in the Logan Circle area, is where to get a drink if you’re looking for a sleek, stylish atmosphere.
This is one of the most upscale lesbian bars in town and has trendy decor throughout the bi-level building.
I love coming here for specialty cocktails, such as the Sweet Heat Margarita with Milagro tequila or the Bully Boy with Redemption bourbon.
JR’s Bar

To the west of Stead Park, you’ll find JR’s Bar, a longstanding neighborhood gay and lesbian bar with a friendly atmosphere that caters to both locals and tourists alike.
I usually go for their happy hour, when I find it the most lively and energetic, but I’ve also gone for their drag shows and dance nights.
I appreciate that when playing music, they also stream the music videos so you can not only sing but dance along to your favorite anthems and show tunes while sipping on a mixed drink.
A League Of Her Own

A League of Her Own is one of the most fun places to get a drink for lesbians who love sports!
This spirited gay sports bar, located near the Lanier Heights area, hosts multiple events throughout the week, such as game watches, trivia nights, and dance parties.
Although it’s a lesbian bar, many other people make their way to this popular spot for a late-night boogie, and I love the diverse, young crowd it draws in.
