Five nights a week, you can enjoy live jazz music at Chris’ Jazz Cafe. The club is a Philly staple and has been around since 1989, earning its stellar reputation in the jazz music scene. The club takes care of the guests’ needs by providing unrivaled cuisines and drinks. You can also bring your bottle of wine but at a very reasonable corkage fee. My experience with the jazz band performance was exquisite. The band mixed classic hits with their renditions, making it a truly memorable experience and one of the best live music bars in Philadelphia.

Heritage also offers events and ceremony hosting services, making it the perfect spot for any special occasion. If you want a cocktail style reception, the bar can accommodate up to 120 people, while the sit-down dinners accommodate 60 people. If you’re wondering where to get a drink with a friend or colleague, this is a great spot.

In Fishtown’s heart, Johnny Brenda specializes in local beer, food, and live music. From the outside, the venue looks small, but it can accommodate up to 300 people for private events. I have attended several events here, and my personal favorite was their ’80s Night hosted by Deejay Disco Dave. The music was great, and the beer selection was among the best in town. I would recommend Johnny Brenda’s for a night out with friends or if you’re looking for places to go out on a Friday night.

Located in the centre city of Philadelphia, the bar provides an intimate setting with great musical acts. Come here for the quality canned beer selections, rotating craft beers on draft, or to hear some of Philly’s best local talents. The venue also offers sound and recording services for anyone looking to record their music in a professional studio. The live music atmosphere at MilkBoy is relaxed but can get quite upbeat on certain nights. My personal favorite is the Monday Night Open Mic; it was one of the fun places to go out.

The bar is also a great spot for cocktails and drinks. There’s an outdoor patio, pool tables and vintage arcade games inside. My friends and I come here for happy hour at least once a month. Remember to book the tickets for their shows in advance as it’s always packed.
