Truluck’s is one of the best places to go out near the shore, where Claughton Island is in Downtown Miami off Brickell Key Drive. This piano bar has a beautiful and posh exterior that draws you in, with mood lighting and a sophisticated appearance. The live music and soothing performances are ideal for a romantic evening or intimate dinner with friends. I always order the Yellowfin Tuna Crudo, which has a delightful Asian flavor with ponzu, avocado, and roasted carrot ginger sauce that tickle your tastebuds.

Blue Martini Brickell

Located in the vibrant Brickell neighborhood on the corner of SW Ninth Street and S Miami Avenue, Blue Martini is a fun and lively place. It’s perfect for an energetic night out with friends, especially if you want to go dancing! It’s closer to a dance club than a piano bar, but they also have slower performances that are endearing and artistic. You can’t go here without getting a martini, and I recommend the Mango Tango! They also serve food, such as baked brie, lamb chops, and sliders.

Cafeina is in the Wynwood neighborhood of Miami on the corner of NW 23rd Street. This lively and artistic lounge is a bit of a hole in the wall, so blink, and you’ll miss it. But once you’re inside, the energy is infectious. The live music is thrilling and unique, so you can discover some amazing new genres here. They serve exquisite cocktails and delicious food, including empanadas, fries, and yummy sliders. It’s one of the most fun places to get drinks if you love art!

Café Catula

Café Catula is a stunning tapas bar with live music and a moody, elevated atmosphere. You can find it on the corner of SW 72nd Street and SW 87th Avenue in the Sunset East neighborhood. The live piano is always moving, with some of the most talented artists appearing here. Their menu is offered in courses with wine for a reasonable price. I always opt for the Mezzaluna Di Granchio, which is a type of ravioli filled with crabmeat, doused with creamy lobster sauce, and topped with baby shrimp, so it’s seafood heaven!
