Go to the Bricknell district, south of Downtown Miami, and visit The Lounge at SLS Brickell, near the trails at Simpson Park. It’s a cozy, intimate space ideal for couples and small groups of friends. The stylish, upscale bar offers decadent mozzarella pizzas, refined wines, bubbly mixed drinks, and domestic and import draft brews. I like to visit the lounge and order the Green Tea Milk Punch, a silver tequila with lime and hints of fragrant allspice.

The Loews Miami Beach Hotel is a resort in South Beach, Miami. It’s next to Lummus Park, a brief walk from the beach. The resort has a variety of bars and lounges to choose from, each with a unique atmosphere. Nautilus Pool Bar & Grill is their poolside restaurant, and the spot is among my favorite places to grab a drink. Order a rum runner with raspberry puree and a plate of cheesy burger sliders.

The Standard Spa, Miami Beach, is on Belle Isle, a micro island between Downtown Miami and South Beach. The spa resort has guest rooms, a restaurant, and an indoor bar. Head outside and visit Lido Bayside Grill, The Standard Spa’s poolside bar. It features brunch, a raw bar, and a global-inspired dinner menu. I recommend the Garden Swizzle, a hydrating gin drink with cucumber, basil, and citrus. Also, try their Fresh Thai Coconut with aged rum.
