If you’re wondering where to get drinks near Hollywood Park, then The Hoppy Monk is one of the best.
It’s one of the best pubs because it’s upbeat, casual, and refined.
The Hoppy Monk is where you go when you want to try a new beer, but they have plenty of cocktails, too.
Their beers are separated into two types. They have everything from IPAs to sours to Lagers and more. I usually choose something local.

You’ll find The Winchester in Alamo Heights. It’s a great pub for many reasons.
They have TVs for watching games and karaoke nights and are inspired by a British pub.
The Winchester’s drink menu is smaller than some other best pubs in San Antonio, but you can still get something you’ll love. S
ome beers I love here are the Pinthouse Electric Jellyfish IPA and Shiner Bock.

Mad Dogs British Pub Riverwalk is one of my favorite bars along the San Antonio Riverwalk.
It’s your classic British pub with servers in kilts and TVs, and they also throw themed parties regularly.
Mad Dogs has a great food and drink menu. I always tell people to grab a bite to eat here, too, so you can try their fish and chips.
As for the drinks, if you want something other than beer, the Brighton Beach Ta is my favorite, but be careful, it’s strong!

Another great pub along the Riverwalk is On The Rocks Pub.
Brick walls surround the bar, and TVs hang on them in almost every inch of the space.
They have plenty of pool tables, and it’s a casual atmosphere.
On The Rocks Pub has a fully stocked bar with almost anything you could want.
It’s here from classic cocktails to mixed drinks to shots and beer.
I love their raspberry lemon drop shots here, but they also have plenty of local beer.

If you’re looking for the best pub in San Antonio that locals frequent, then McFinnigans Pub is your spot.
This Irish pub features green walls and wooden furniture.
It feels exactly like what you’d want from an Irish pub: cozy yet lively on the weekends.
As an Irish pub, you’ll find everything on the menu at McFinnigans.
They have a great happy hour with discounts on Irish whiskey and beer, but you can only go right with a whiskey sour if you want something with liquor.

Stone Street Pub is one of the most fun places to get drinks in Deer Hollow.
It’s a local sports bar that is typically laid-back but can get a little rowdy during football season.
Stone Street Pub is another one of the best pubs in San Antonio that’s fully stocked.
They make a variety of cocktails that most people will enjoy.
They make a great Moscow Mule and Bloody Mary and have an excellent beer selection.
