If you want somewhere chill to grab a drink in the East Village, head over to Lucky. Lucky has a great selection of beers and cocktails that you can enjoy.
I especially love going to Lucky as a single person in the summer since they have a great beer garden where you can hang with friends and meet new people.

I love the vibe at Mood Ring, an astrology-themed bar in Bushwick. It is a bar where you will be able to meet a lot of people thanks to their big tables and social vibe.
There is also a fun photo booth and a lot of astrology-inspired cocktails. What better way to meet someone than by asking them about their zodiac sign?

I love Pianos on the Lower East Side because there are two levels to the bar where you can socialize and enjoy some drinks.
On the lower floor, there is live music and bands, and you will find a DJ on the second floor, so you can choose the vibe you want for the night.

Another one of the fun places to get drinks as a single person is Judy & Punch, which is in Astoria in Queens.
It has a low-key vibe, so it’s great for talking and getting to know other people instead of dancing at a lot of places. They also have some small plates if you get hungry.

I love Skinny Dennis, a chill bar in Williamsburg, because they are open super late, till 4 AM, every night of the week. It has cool saloon vibes, and there are games you can play.
The music here is primarily country, which can help you find other single people with the same taste in music as you.

I love a good pub, and e’s Bar on the Upper West Side is one of the most fun places to go out as a single person in NYC.
They have drink specials throughout the week, and they also have great food in a very chill environment. And there are board games you can play with the awesome people you meet here.

Keybar is undoubtedly a cool place to go in the East Village, and you will see why as soon as you walk in.
They have a fireplace that gives cozy vibes where you can flirt or grab one of their special Rolo shots. You won’t regret it.
The Spaniard

The Spaniard is more of a traditional bar and restaurant in the West Village, which is good if you want to enjoy a meal by yourself at the bar or talk to some other people while you grab a bite to eat.
You will also love it here if you like whiskey since they have plenty to choose from, including Scotch, Irish whiskey, and bourbon.
The Dead Rabbit

The Dead Rabbit is a great Irish Pub just a block away from the Staten Island Ferry. They have two floors where you can grab some grub or a drink.
They have plenty of Irish whiskeys, beer, and cocktails, including their special mixed drinks, which rotate every season.

The Pocket Bar NYC is one of the fun places to go out in Hell’s Kitchen if you are single. It’s a cozy place to go, and you can get beer, wine, or one of my favorites, sangria.
If you end up meeting someone cute or just some other single friends here, you can share a carafe of sangria.
Raines Law Room Chelsea

Raines Law Room Chelsea is one of my favorite bars, and you might not have even heard of it. You have to ring the doorbell to get into the bar, which is a throwback to the prohibition in the city.
The cocktails here are also classics to fit the theme dating back a century.

Another great place to grab a classic cocktail if you are single in New York City is at The Penrose on the Upper East Side.
In addition to the cocktails, you will find some beer and a good whiskey list. It also has a good vintage vibe that matches the drinks here well.

Union Pool is another place I highly recommend for where to get a drink if you are single. It’s a popular spot, so it is easy to meet people here, and it’s also a really fun place thanks to the live music.
And my favorite is the taco truck in the back, which has delicious food after a few drinks or some dancing.

Beauty Bar is just on the edge of the East Village and Gramercy Park, and it’s a fun nightclub for single people.
There are great DJs here, and the dance floor is fun with your single friends or to make new friends. They also offer manicures that fit the salon vibe.

Fools Gold NYC is one of my favorite pubs near Ukrainian Village, and you will love it too for a fun night. They have plenty of beer and bourbon to choose from, so you can find one of your favorites or try something new.
And, there is some food here too that is good to eat on your own or share with your fellow single friends.

If there was ever such a thing as an upscale dive bar, it is the Holiday Cocktail Lounge in Ukranian Village.
I love it here because of their cocktails which have the most fun names, like the No Brainer with mezcal and the What The Hell is a Gigawatt which you will have to answer for yourself!

I love Sophie’s, which is a dive bar in the East Village where it is super to meet people as a single person, and you can even become one of the regulars if you like it enough.
They have the basics of a dive bar, including beer, a jukebox, and, my favorite, a pool table.
The Back Room

As a single person, I love The Back Room since it makes me feel like a rebel during Prohibition times, and the people here are great fun.
They really go in on the Prohibition theme as they serve their cocktails in teacups and hide the beer in paper bags.
124 Old Rabbit Club

You may have a hard time finding the 124 Old Rabbit Club in Greenwich Village as it is a skinny bar that you have to actually buzz into to get in.
Once inside, you will find a dark but classic pub full of beers. It is a cool spot to socialize as a single person since it has such a small but cozy vibe.

On the Rocks is another lowkey spot where you can go in Hell’s Kitchen for some beer or whiskey. It is dimly lit, and you will not find anything over the top here other than the selection of drinks here.
I promise they will have something new for you to try that you have not tried before.
The Wren

Finally, The Wren is just on the cusp of NOHO, and Bowey has more of an upscale vibe. You will find a lot of great stuff to drink here, including my favorite Spill the Tea cocktail.
There is also beer and wine and some great pub food to choose from.
Final Thoughts
I wouldn’t want to be single anywhere else but in NYC, thanks to all the fun spots in the city to go grab a drink with my other single friends or meet some new people. You will love all the best singles bars in NYC, which I recommended above.
