It’s right by the Nationals Stadium, so it caters to baseball lovers, but it also caters to soccer fans who appreciate a lively and dynamic atmosphere.

There are plenty of screens so you can catch your favorite game, but I honestly appreciate their wide selection of beers on tap and their classic sports bar fare, like wings and pulled pork sandwiches.

Lou’s City Bar, near Meridian Hill Park in Columbia Heights, is a more traditional sports bar.

They have plenty of TVs, great food (try the City Bar nachos), and rotating game day specials to keep people’s spirits high.

While they cater more to football during football season, if you’re looking for one of the most fun places to get drinks and watch soccer in DC, Lou’s City Bar should be on the top of your list!

One of the most fun places to go out for soccer lovers is Parlay DC Sports Bar & Rooftop, located by Kalorama Park.

The high-spirited atmosphere, coupled with its uniquely Western-themed decor, make it a go-to spot for me and my friends when we want to watch a game.

While they cater to Cowboys football games primarily, there are plenty of TVs, so you can feel rest assured that you’ll be able to catch your favorite team.

The Big Stick, in the Navy Yard near Walter’s mentioned above, is one of the most cozy, relaxing spots bars I’ve ever been to.

It even has a fireplace!

I like going here when I want to be in a more homey yet still-spirited environment.

They also have great food and drinks, including sliders, draft beer, and specialty cocktails.

I recommend Georgia’s Southern Tea with Deep Eddy Sweet Tea Vodka.

Please drink responsibly, be fully accountable with your alcohol consumption, and show others respect.

I have always had a deep interest in the restaurant and bar industry. My restaurant experience began in 1997 at the age of 14 as a bus boy. By the time I turned 17 I was serving tables, and by 19 I was bartending/bar managing 6-7 nights a week.

In 2012, after a decade and a half of learning all facets of the industry, I opened my first restaurant/bar. In 2015, a second location followed, the latter being featured on The Food Network’s
Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.
