The James Room is another great option for drinks in Atlanta that I highly recommend checking out. It’s a dimly lit cocktail lounge that is as cozy as it is exclusive-feeling. There, you can enjoy their wonderful music programming and carefully crafted cocktails. The James Room is a bit more upbeat than other speakeasy bars in the city, with a larger focus on music.

An untraditional speakeasy, Jojo’s offers a very different experience than other bars on this list.

The Chapter Room in Sandy Springs is a speakeasy-style location that offers a recently updated menu and a number of unique drinks to try out. Some of the menu items include Truffle pommes frites with garlic aioli and Tropicalia-brined wings served with celery and carrots. This bar also has a great selection of wines and beers, as well as spirits from all around the world. The Chapter Room is a popular spot for after-work cocktails with friends and colleagues due to its relaxed atmosphere. I really enjoyed their many different cocktails, including the spiced pear margarita. The staff here is always friendly and helpful, so don’t be surprised if you get invited back for another visit!

The Love Below Speakeasy is a burlesque and art lounge that’s known for its live music and erotic poetry evenings. They also offer couples workshops. It’s a truly unique destination, and I can’t say I’ve ever been anywhere like it. If you’re looking to explore Atlanta outside the box, I highly recommend checking this location out.
