Access the speakeasy via a side door or the Musume restaurant next door.
I love visiting this trendy speakeasy, and the dimly lit atmosphere and comfy couches are ideal for a late-night conversation with friends.

It’s a hidden gem in Deep Ellum, across from the iconic Commerce St.

Rare Books Bar is another top speakeasy in Dallas.
It’s a vintage place that feels like stepping back into the 1920s, and you might want to dress chic to go there.
The trendy spot is in Frisco, a few minutes north of Dallas.
It’s a newer establishment, started in 2019, but is quickly gaining traction with local speakeasy fans.
Go to the Rare Books Bar and try whiskey, the main feature. Or, check out the aged tequila.

This speakeasy is a Central Dallas staple with an extensive bourbon library.
Bourbon & Banter, in the Downtown Historic District, is one of my favorite places to go for a bite and a cocktail, and you can’t miss it.
The spot boasts hundreds of bourbons for every palate, from casual tasters to refined connoisseurs.
I recommend a Pompadour bourbon mixed with rum or a Between the Sheets with maple cinnamon syrup. Don’t forget the charcuterie board!

I can’t leave out Atlas, a speakeasy in Bishop Arts. It’s a refined spot with a focus on cocktails.
The place isn’t far from attractions like the Dallas Zoo. However, it has a cozy feel and is in a residential area.
Check out the laid-back speakeasy that offers happy hours for food and drinks and late-night hours.
I suggest ordering a crunchy tomato basil bruschetta plate with a Hollywood cocktail with rum and pomegranate syrup.

It’s modern but still suggestive of the era of hidden basement bars, with a chill environment and dim lights.
This bar in North Dallas, near Greenland Hills, reminds me of an old-fashioned neighborhood bar.
Settle down in the cozy atmosphere and order a round of beers, martinis, or Mexican spirits.
They don’t have a menu, but the pro bartenders can whip up almost anything you like.

I like to visit after a busy day of touring Downtown, and the peaceful neighborhood feel is an ideal escape from the hustle and bustle.
The speakeasy is behind a secret door in the Houndstooth Coffee Shop, and it is the perfect place to enjoy a night of cocktails and conversation.
Hide away with a pink coconut gin, a house specialty.
