The Broken Shaker at Freehand New York is not the first tiki bar to go by this name. It was inspired by the original that you can still visit in Miami.

This tiki bar is in the lobby of Freehand New York, which used to be a hotel. It has a very relaxed atmosphere, with a tiki bar that serves up tiki-inspired cocktails and food.

The happy hour is one of the best in the city, and you will want to order several of the cocktails.

Tiki Chick

On warm summer days, you can lay out and catch a tan. I highly recommend the poke bowl and the dumplings. I promise you they are worth the wait. If you want something more traditional, the sliders are also delicious.
