Hugman’s Oasis

135 E Commerce St, San Antonio, TX 78205
Phone: (210) 441-7225
Visit Website

One of the best tiki bars by far in Downtown San Antonio is Hugman’s Oasis.

This beautiful tiki bar features dim lighting and wooden furniture but vibrant decor and signs throughout.

Hugman’s Oasis has a fully stocked bar, so you can order almost anything here.

That being said, I suggest grabbing one of their house tiki cocktails because they serve them in fun glasses.

The Texas Tornado and Sneaky Pete are some of my favorites.

Hanzo

7701 Broadway Ste 124, San Antonio, TX 78209
Phone: (210) 826-1488
Visit Website

One of the most fun places to get drinks in San Antonio.

It’s a casual Japanese restaurant that also features tropical and tiki vibes. I love sitting on the enclosed patio here.

While Hanzo doesn’t have cocktails that they serve in tropical glasses, they have plenty of tropical-inspired cocktails.

I love the Punch Drunk Love with pineapple-infused vodka, but they have beer and wine if you’d prefer something a little weaker.

Blue Box Bar

312 Pearl Pkwy, San Antonio, TX 78215
Phone: (210) 227-2583
Visit Website

Blue Box Bar is just north of Downtown San Antonio, only a block from the river.

The sleek and welcoming bar features a more modern take on tiki bars.

The menu at Blue Box Bar is vast, with beer, wine, and spirits.

The beer list is excellent, but I’d go with one of their more tropical cocktails since you’re looking for a tiki bar.

The About Last Night cocktail features Mezcal, Cucumber, Blackberry, and other fun flavors.

Thirsty Aztec

200 River Walk St, San Antonio, TX 78205
Phone: (210) 580-4844
Visit Website

As you stroll along the San Antonio Riverwalk, a great tiki bar to pop into is Thirsty Aztec.

It’s a laid-back bar with tropical vibes and bartenders who love creating whimsical drinks.

One of the most popular things about Thirsty Aztec is that they serve frozen cocktails in yard cups.

You can get smaller ones, but the yard cups are part of the experience.

The Amiki Tea is their most popular, but I love the Park Police cocktail, too.

Hot Joy

1014 S Alamo St, San Antonio, TX 78210
Phone: (210) 940-4488
Visit Website

If you’re searching for where to get a drink in the King William neighborhood, then Hot Joy is one.

It’s the perfect combination of a tiki bar and an Asian restaurant. It’s calm and has intimate lighting.

Like other tiki bars in San Antonio, Hot Joy has a fully stocked bar. I love that all their house cocktails have a tropical twist.

The Cake By the Ocean is delicious, but the Sweet Life with peach liqueur is top-notch.

Margaritaville – San Antonio

849 E Commerce St, San Antonio, TX 78205
Phone: (210) 973-5911
Visit Website

I can only talk about tiki bars in San Antonio if I mention Margaritaville.

It’s one of the most fun places to go out right in the city center.

It’s upbeat, has live music, and will make you feel like you’ve been transported to an island.

Margaritaville has a full bar menu, but margaritas are the most popular drinks here.

They have several flavors of margaritas to choose from with fun names.

The Smokin’ Rita is slightly spicy, and the Devil I Know features Fireball.

Also, Margaritaville is one of the best tiki bars in San Antonio because it’s part of Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville Resorts chain.

Please drink responsibly, be fully accountable with your alcohol consumption, and show others respect.
