With dazzling beaches like South Beach and Surfside Beach, Miami beckons explorers from around the globe.

And from enjoying sun-soaked days to strolling through the colorful streets of Wynwood, you won’t ever get bored.

But if you’re a whiskey connoisseur and are wondering where to get a drink after a fun-filled day, I’ll share the best whiskey bars in Miami.

The Taurus Coconut Grove

3540 Main Hwy c103, Miami, FL 33133

The Taurus Coconut Grove is a sleek and eclectic tavern near The Barnacle Historic State Park.

I enjoy going here for several reasons, including hanging out on the inviting patio area, catching a funny comedy night, or singing during karaoke night.

But their extensive whiskey list is definitely the highlight at The Taurus, especially since they offer specialty whiskeys that are challenging to find elsewhere.

I recommend pairing your favorite whiskey, bourbon, or rye with their chug burger or fennel sausage pizza.

Yardbird Table & Bar

1600 Lenox Ave., Miami Beach, FL 33139

Yardbird Table & Bar is undoubtedly one of the best whiskey bars in Miami due to its rustic-chic interior design, friendly atmosphere, and an impressive selection of bourbon.

It’s so awesome to be able to drink a good bourbon like Angel’s Envy or Maker’s Mark ’46 while indulging in Southern eats like chicken & waffles or shrimp & grits.

Plus, it’s located near South Beach and Flamingo Park, so it’s a highly accessible spot for friends from all over the area to meet up for a drink.

Wynwood Brewing Company

565 NW 24th St, Miami, FL 33127

Wynwood is the trendy and popular entertainment area of Miami, so I wasn’t surprised to discover one of the most fun places to get drinks in the city – Wynwood Brewing Company!

Located near the Mana Wynwood Convention Center, Wynwood Brewing Company is a hot spot for limited-edition brews.

Whiskey lovers enjoy their bourbon barrel porter as well as all of the beers because they’re all innovative, dynamic, and well-crafted.

Plus, it’s an enjoyable spot to bring friends, as they have a wide array of board games you can play, perfect for those who appreciate some friendly competition.

Broken Shaker at Freehand Miami

Broken Shaker at Freehand Miami, near Miami Beach, is a popular yet intimate and snug watering hole with a romantic vibe – perfect for a unique date night.

If you want a more intimate atmosphere, you can stay indoors, but I appreciate their expansive, airy outdoor area that’s both breathable and inviting.

In terms of drinks, you can’t go wrong with any of their award-winning cocktails, but I especially enjoy their whiskey sour and whiskey punch.

Beaker & Gray

2637 N Miami Ave, Miami, FL 33127
Phone: (305) 699-2637
Visit Website

Beaker & Gray, near the Gateway at Wynwood, is another trendy New American restaurant and bar that people can’t seem to get tired of – including me!

I admire their wide selection of whiskey, as well as their tasty meal options like yellow curry, hanger steak, and oxtail tortellini.

This bar, set in a former factor space, has a unique, industrial-chic vibe that’s perfect for hanging out and catching up with a close group of friends.

Bodega Taqueria y Tequila South Beach

1220 16th St, Miami Beach, FL 33139
Phone: (305) 704-2145

In South Beach, near the Rooftop Cinema Club, you’ll find Bodega Taqueria y Tequila.

Given the name, it’s no surprise that they have an impressive selection of tequila drinks, but they also have a notable whiskey list as well.

Beyond the amazing cocktails, I really enjoy coming to Bodega because of the colorful, funky, and exciting design that makes it hard not to feel fun and carefree!

Bodega is also one of the most fun places to go out dancing because the dance floor is lively but never gets overly crowded, and the DJ is always playing the best jams.

I recommend grabbing a Mula de Bodega and some tacos, then having a great time!

Abbey Brewing Company

1115-1117 16th St, Miami Beach, FL 33139
Phone: (305) 538-8110
Visit Website

Abbey Brewing Company, close to the Romero Britto Fine Art Gallery in the South Beach area, is a relaxing, cozy brewery that specializes in both craft beer and whiskey selections.

While I love their draft IPA the most, I appreciate being able to get past whiskey in between my brews to switch things up.

Plus, the dark yet inviting atmosphere is always a winner for my friends and me, perfect for a weeknight treat.
