Bacchanalia is over in Berkley Park, just northwest of Downtown Atlanta. This upscale bar is one of the most expensive bars in Atlanta, but you definitely get what you pay for here. You feel like the most important patron in the bar, and it’s a great place for date night. They have a full bar, but I recommend checking out their classic and scratch cocktails. I love the front porch sipper the best. They also have one of the longest and most impressive wine lists.

Just outside the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum is the expensive bar, TWO urban licks. It has a modern appearance with dim lighting and a prestigious atmosphere. It’s the perfect bar to head to to treat yourself. Like most higher-end bars, you’ll find a fully stocked bar with almost anything you want. I’m a big fan of their cocktails because they’re made perfectly, and many are unique. Their paper plane cocktail with lemon-infused bourbon is a must-try.

In the heart of Midtown is Bar Margot considered among the most expensive bars in Atlanta. This bar is one of the best places to get a drink when you want a delicious meal. It’s surrounded by hotels and just west of Piedmont Park. As for the drinks here, their wine list is one of the best around. They have a selection of sparkling wine, champagne, reds, whites, and blends. If wine isn’t your cup of tea, they have an excellent selection of local craft beer.

The bar exudes elegance in every way, particularly with its black and gold accents. You’ll find an extensive bar list and bartenders who can make almost everything. I always opt for a classic cocktail like a Manhattan or old-fashioned, but their lemongrass Collins is popular.

For an expensive bar with best views in Atlanta, you must head to Peachtree Plaza and visit the Sun Dial Restaurant, Bar & View. As the name suggests, you come for the drinks but stay for the view. You have 360-degree views of Atlanta! Although you can come just for drinks, I suggest grabbing dinner or an appetizer with your drink if you have the time. I always recommend sharing a bottle of wine or champagne.

You’ll need to head north of Downtown Atlanta to find 10 Degrees South. Even with the bar being categorized as one of the most expensive bars in Atlanta, this South African bar and restaurant is worth it. The ambiance is intimate, and the staff makes you feel like the most important person in the room. For red wine lovers, you’ll thoroughly enjoy this bar since the red wine list is very long. They also have other wines, beer, and cocktails to choose from. I always go with a black Manhattan here.

If you’re looking for an expensive bar right in the heart of Downtown Atlanta, then I can’t recommend White Oak Kitchen & Cocktails enough. The restaurant and bar are airy and have a modern and lively feel. The drink menu here is something to admire. They’re known for their large selection of whiskey and bourbon, but they have something for everyone. Some of the best signature cocktails here are their lemon basil smash and their moonshine margarita.

Rose & Rye is nestled between Buckhead Forest and Buckhead Heights. It’s a charming, expensive rooftop bar and lounge, usually pretty crowded. Unlike other expensive bars in Atlanta, this one is decorated with vibrant colors that can make anyone smile. Their drink menu features wine, beer, some classic cocktails, and signature cocktails. I suggest looking at the signature ones to see if you can try something you’ve never had. The lychee martini and Buckhead spritz are two of my go-to’s.

For those in Midtown, Establishment is a great expensive bar near Piedmont Park. You’ll know you’ve arrived because you can’t miss the prominent, illuminated bar name outside. It’s the perfect combination of elegant and lively and cozy and intimate. Like many other bars, you have beer, wine, and liquor. Most people go with local craft beers like SweetWater 420, but their cocktails are delicious too.
