5 Most Expensive Bars in Los Angeles

LA is a city of luxury and extravagance, attracting the famous and rich from all over the world.

From stunning rooftop views to exclusive VIP lounges, the City of Angels is home to some of the most pricey establishments in the country.

I’ll discuss the opulent world of the most expensive bars in Los Angeles and the lavish experiences they offer.

Get ready to indulge in the finest drinks, stunning decor, and unparalleled service that money can buy.

Standard Hotel

550 Flower St #84, Los Angeles, CA 90071
Phone: (213) 892-8634
Visit Website

If you’re wondering where to get a drink in City West, near The Broad modern art museum, check out Standard Hotel.

Standard Hotels is a global entity that prides itself on fancy living and vibrant partying.

The LA version has a rooftop lounge with a huge party vibe, but people have stated that the drinks are quite pricey.

Whether you want to splurge on a night out or pregame before then, head there for just a few drinks, I recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

Bar Flores

1542 Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90026
Phone: (213) 266-8006
Visit Website

Bar Flores, located in the Echo Park area of Sunset Blvd, has a casual atmosphere, but the drinks are more reflective of an upscale dining experience.

I believe that the menu is priced high because Bar Flores puts a lot of effort into the drinks and the overall interior design of the space, which makes it appealing regardless of the menu prices.

I like to go here with friends when we’re celebrating someone’s birthday or just looking for an excuse to treat ourselves to gorgeous cocktails, like the Tiki Jungle Bird or the Passion Fruit Sour.

Capri Club

4604 Eagle Rock Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90041
Phone: (323) 539-8842
Visit Website

Capri Club is a sleek, sophisticated Bar near Occidental College. It has a romantic vibe, suitable for a cozy date night or an intimate gathering with close friends.

I love the arancini balls and other Italian small plates they offer, but their cocktails are why I keep coming back.

Some people think this restaurant is expensive, but it’s been running since 1963, so they must be doing something right.

I recommend ordering the Paper Plane cocktail, featuring whiskey, bitters, Tonino, and citrus.

Spire 73

900 Wilshire Blvd fl 73, Los Angeles, CA 90017
Phone: (213) 688-7777
Visit Website

Spire 73 is a chic, moody rooftop bar with a lovely open-air seating area and gorgeous craft cocktails. It’s located on the 73rd floor of the InterContinental Hotel in City West, by Pershing Square.

Like most hotels, InterContinental charges a premium for their convenient access, and the prices are probably further increased due to the stunning sunset views you get from the rooftop and the cozy firepit areas.

Expect to pay at least $60 per person, but also expect to enjoy every minute of it!

Bar Clara

649 S Olive St, Los Angeles, CA 90014
Phone: (213) 358-0000
Visit Website

Bar Clara is in the same area as Spire 73, mentioned above, near the GRAMMY Museum LA Live.

It’s a colorful, hip bar that’s also part of a hotel – Hotel Perla, to be exact – and offers delicious steak and seafood.

In terms of cocktails, you’ll have to shell out for craft creations like the Bella, with Wheatley vodka and cranberry lime cordial, but it’s worth it for special occasions.

Please drink responsibly, be fully accountable with your alcohol consumption, and show others respect.
