If you prefer a stronger blueberry flavor, muddle a handful of fresh blueberries in the bottom of the cocktail shaker before adding the other ingredients.
In the cocktail shaker, combine the vodka, blueberry liqueur, lemon juice, simple syrup, and a handful of ice cubes.
Shake well until the outside of the shaker feels cold, about 15-20 seconds.
Strain the mixture into a chilled martini glass to remove ice shards and any muddled blueberries.
Garnish with a few fresh blueberries on a skewer or floating in the drink.
