  • .5 oz heavy cream

  • Dark Chocolate square
  • Chocolate covered cherries for garnish

For the chocolate covered cherries:

Instructions

  • Add the cherry vodka, dark creme de cocoa, cherry vanilla syrup, .5 oz heavy cream, and a small bar spoon of chocolate sauce to a shaker, add ice and shake.
  • Grab a martini glass and create a swirl with the chocolate sauce on the inside of the glass.
  • Strain the cocktail into the martini glass. Shave some dark chocolate curls overtop of the martini.
  • Add 3 chocolate covered cherries to a cocktail pick and place along one side of the rim.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy your Chocolate Cherry Martini

For the chocolate covered cherries:

  • Dry off the maraschino cherries with a towel or paper towel. Ensure that they are as dry as possible.
  • In a microwave safe dish, mix 1/2 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips and a teaspoon of coconut oil. Place this in the microwave for 30 seconds to 1 minute and stir until you get a smooth chocolate. You can also use the stovetop to melt the chocolate as well.
  • Grab a baking tray and a piece of parchment paper. Dip the cherries in the chocolate and place them on the parchment paper
  • Place in the freezer for 1 hour to full harden.
  • Take off the [parchment paper and onto a cocktail pick for the best garnish!

Notes

Pro Tips

  • Chill the martini glass first. Cold glass keeps the drink thick longer.
  • Use a small amount of chocolate sauce in the shaker. Too much can make the drink heavy and overly sweet.
  • Shake just long enough. Over-shaking can dilute it and thin the texture.
