Cupid’s Arrow Lemon Drop Martini

Ingredients

  • 2 oz citrus vodka
  • .75 oz triple sec
  • 1 oz raspberry simple syrup
  • 1 oz lemon juice
  • raspberries
  • pink sugar for the rim

Raspberry Simple Syrup:

  • 1 1/2 cups of fresh raspberries
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 cup of sugar

Instructions

  • Add the vodka, triple sec, raspberry simple syrup, and lemon juice to a shaker with ice and shake.
  • Rim your glass with lemon juice =, then coat in the pink sprinkles
  • Strain your cocktail into the martini glass
  • Garnish with 3 raspberries on a cocktail pick and enjoy the Cupid's Arrow Martini!

Raspberry Simple Syrup:

  • Add all ingredients to a saucepan on medium heat and bring to a light boil. Once its boiled, turn the heat down and keep on a low simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Use a potato masher to mash up the raspberries to release more juice and flavor. Do this occasionally while the syrup simmers.
  • Take off heat and let cool. Strain out the raspberry pulp and you are left with delicious raspberry simple syrup.

Pro Tips

  • Chill your glass. Cold glass keeps the drink crisp and helps the rim stay neat.
  • Use fresh lemon juice. It makes the drink taste brighter and less bitter.
  • Shake long enough. You want it very cold and slightly diluted so it tastes smooth.
