Enjoy the festive season with traditional Eggnog: a rich, spiced beverage made with creamy dairy, toasty spices, and your preferred alcohol.

Ingredients

  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 oz of your favorite spirit rum, whiskey, or brandy
  • A pinch of freshly grated nutmeg plus more for garnish

Instructions

  • In a bowl, beat the egg and sugar together until smooth.
  • Slowly whisk in the milk and heavy cream.
  • Stir in your choice of spirit.
  • Pour the mixture into your glass and top with a sprinkle of nutmeg.
  • Enjoy immediately for the freshest taste.
