This fun and spicy cocktail is a great conversation starter and perfect for anyone who loves a bit of heat in their drinks.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Blanco tequila
  • 1 oz Fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 oz Agave nectar
  • 4 dashes Hot sauce e.g., Tabasco or similar heat level to Hot Cheetos
  • 1 teaspoon Crushed Hot Cheetos plus extra for the rim
  • 1/2 oz Triple sec or Cointreau

Instructions

Prepare the Glass:

  • Start with a chilled cocktail or wide-mouthed margarita glass.
  • Rub a lime wedge around the rim to moisten it.
  • Mix crushed Hot Cheetos and a bit of fine salt on a plate if you like.
  • Dip the rim of the glass into the mixture to coat it evenly. Set aside.

Mix the Drink:

  • In a shaker, muddle 1 teaspoon of crushed Hot Cheetos to release their flavor.
  • Add the Blanco tequila, fresh lime juice, agave nectar, hot sauce, Triple sec, and ice to the shaker.
  • Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds, or until well-chilled.

Serve:

  • Strain the mixture into the prepared glass, leaving the muddled Cheeto bits behind.
  • Optionally, add a few whole ice cubes to the glass to keep the drink cold.
  • Garnish with a small skewer of Hot Cheetos for an extra spicy bite.

Enjoy:

  • Serve immediately and savor the spicy, tangy kick that’s just like your favorite fiery snack!
