Strawberry Jam Paper Plane

Ingredients

  • 0.75 oz bourbon
  • 0.75 oz Aperol
  • 0.75 oz Amaro Nonino
  • 0.75 oz lemon juice
  • 0.25 oz strawberry jam about 1 bar spoon
  • 3 dashes bitters
  • Strawberry for garnish

Instructions

  • Add strawberry jam and lemon juice to a shaker and stir (or give a short dry shake) to loosen the jam.
  • Add bourbon, Aperol, Amaro Nonino, bitters, and ice.
  • Shake hard until well chilled (about 10–15 seconds).
  • Double strain into a chilled coupe or over a large ice cube in a rocks glass.
  • Garnish with a slit strawberry on the rim.

  • Loosen the jam first so it mixes evenly
  • Always double strain to remove pulp and keep the texture smooth
  • Use fresh lemon juice for the best balance
