Ingredients

  • 2 oz Dry Gin
  • 0.5 oz Extra Dry Vermouth
  • 4 oz pomegranate juice
  • Salt for rimming
  • Lime wedge for rimming
  • Cherry for garnish
  • Lime slice for garnish

Instructions

  • Start by preparing your glass. Pour a small amount of salt onto a plate. Run the lime wedge around the rim of the glass, then dip the rim into the salt, twisting to evenly coat. Fill the glass with ice and set aside.
  • In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the dry gin, extra dry vermouth, and pomegranate juice.
  • Stir the mixture gently to combine the ingredients without over-diluting the drink.
  • Strain the cocktail into your prepared, salt-rimmed glass filled with ice.
  • Garnish with a cherry and a lime slice for a spooky finishing touch.
  • Serve and enjoy this bewitching Blood Moon Potion as you sip under the eerie glow of the moon!

Notes

Pro Tips

  • For an added touch of spookiness, you can freeze the cherry and lime garnish beforehand for a chilling effect.
  • Use freshly squeezed pomegranate juice if possible for a more vibrant, natural flavor.
  • Adjust the salt rim to your liking by only coating half the glass if you prefer a subtler salty edge.
