Enjoy the cool Caipiroska, a straightforward concoction of sugar, lime, and vodka. It's a refreshing take on the traditional caipirinha and perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz. vodka
  • 1/2 lime cut into wedges
  • 2 teaspoons sugar or to taste

Instructions

  • Place the lime wedges and sugar into a rocks glass. Use a muddler to gently press them together until the lime releases its juice and the sugar starts to dissolve.
  • Fill the glass with crushed ice.
  • Pour the vodka over the ice.
  • Mix everything together with a spoon.
  • Add more crushed ice to top it off, and give it one last stir.

Notes

Can I use vodka with flavoring?
Of course! You may give your Caipiroska a unique spin by using flavored vodka.
Does one have to use fresh lime?
Indeed, the best flavor depends on using fresh limes. The freshness and zest of fresh lime juice are not present in bottled juice.
Can I add extra sourness or sweetness to it?
Absolutely. To suit your taste, adjust the sugar and lime. It all comes down to figuring out the ideal balance for you.
