  • 1.5 oz tequila blanco
  • 0.75 oz calamansi juice
  • 0.75 oz agave syrup
  • 0.5 oz Cointreau
  • 0.5 oz lime juice
  • Salt for rimming
  • Garnish: calamansi slice mint sprig

Instructions

  • Pour salt onto a small plate. Moisten the rim of a rocks glass with lime juice and dip it into the salt to coat.
  • Fill the prepared glass with ice and set aside.
  • In a shaker, combine tequila, calamansi juice, agave syrup, Cointreau, and lime juice.
  • Add ice and shake well for about 15 seconds.
  • Strain into the salt-rimmed glass.
  • Garnish with a slice of calamansi and a sprig of mint.

  • Use freshly squeezed calamansi juice for the most authentic flavor.
  • Fine-strain if you prefer a smoother pour without pulp.
  • Chill the glass beforehand to keep the drink colder longer.
