- 2 oz dark rum
- 1 brown sugar cube
- 1 oz lime juice
- 6 fresh mint leaves
- Sparkling water to top
- Mint sprig and lime wheel for garnish
In a highball glass, add the brown sugar cube and lime juice.
Muddle until the sugar dissolves.
Add the mint leaves and gently press them to release the oils (don’t shred them).
Pour in the dark rum and fill the glass with ice.
Stir to mix everything well.
Top with sparkling water and give it one last gentle stir.
Garnish with a mint sprig and lime wheel.
