  • Add all ingredients to a saucepan and bring to a light boil. Lower heat and let simmer for 10 minutes. Take off heat and let cool and strain into out the ginger and cinnamon sticks. Keep in an airtight container for 2 weeks.

  • On a shallow plate, mix the ground cinnamon and granulated sugar. Run an orange wedge around the rim of a rocks glass, then dip the rim into the cinnamon-sugar mixture to coat.
  • Carefully add ice to the prepared glass.
  • Pour in the vodka, coffee liqueur, gingerbread simple syrup, and heavy cream.
  • Stir the cocktail gently to combine the flavors. Garnish with a gingerbread cookie for a festive touch and serve immediately.
