Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cream soda
  • 2 tablespoons butterscotch syrup
  • 1 tablespoon butter softened
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of ground cinnamon optional

Instructions

  • Fill a large mug with cream soda.
  • Add 1-2 tablespoons of butterscotch syrup to the cream soda, depending on your taste preferences. Stir until well combined.
  • If desired, add a splash of butter extract or butterscotch schnapps for extra flavor.
  • In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream or heavy whipping cream until it forms stiff peaks.
  • Top the cream soda mixture with a generous dollop of whipped cream.
  • Serve immediately with a drizzle of butterscotch syrup and a sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg on top.

Notes

Pro Tips

  • Use cold cream soda so the drink stays fizzy longer.
  • Soften the butter fully to avoid clumps in the drink.
  • Whip the cream just until stiff so it holds its shape.
