Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz tequila
  • 1 oz Cointreau
  • 2 kiwis peeled and chopped
  • 0.5 oz agave syrup
  • 1 oz lime juice
  • ½ jalapeño chopped
  • Chili powder for rimming
  • Lime wedge to wet rim and garnish
  • Kiwi or jalapeño slice for garnish

Instructions

  • Rim the Glass: Run a lime wedge around the rim of your glass and dip into chili powder if desired. Fill glass with ice and set aside.
  • Muddle: In a cocktail shaker, muddle chopped kiwi and jalapeño with agave syrup and lime juice.
  • Add Spirits and Shake: Add tequila and Cointreau. Fill shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
  • Strain: Double strain into your prepared glass over fresh ice.
  • Garnish: Add a lime wedge, kiwi slice, or a thin strip of jalapeño for an eye-catching finish.
