Try the London Mule, which is a cool take on the traditional mule made with gin, ginger beer, and lime. Ideal for any occasion. Cheers for a British classic.

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces of London dry gin
  • 1/2 ounce of freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 3 ounces of ginger beer
  • Lime wheel for garnish

Instructions

  • Fill a copper mug (or a highball glass) with ice cubes.
  • Add 2 ounces of London dry gin and 1/2 ounce of freshly squeezed lime juice to the mug.
  • Top it with 3 ounces of ginger beer.
  • Stir the mixture briefly.
  • Garnish with a lime wheel.

Notes

Can a London Mule be made without a copper mug?
Yes, while the copper cup is customary, you can use whichever glass you like.
Is it fine to use bottled lime juice?
For the finest flavor, use fresh lime juice, but bottled will suffice.
Can I substitute booze with something else?
Absolutely! Simply replace the gin with a non-alcoholic spirit or add more ginger beer for a pleasant mocktail
