Equipment

Ingredients

  • 2 oz white rum
  • 1 oz lime juice
  • 0.25 oz agave nectar
  • ½ can about 6 oz Mountain Dew Baja Blast
  • 4 mint leaves

Garnish:

  • Lime wedge
  • Mint sprig

Instructions

  • In a mixing glass, add lime juice, agave nectar, and mint leaves. Lightly muddle to bruise the mint and release its aroma.
  • Pour in the white rum and give it another brief muddle.
  • Fill a tall glass about two-thirds with ice and pour in the Baja Blast.
  • Add the muddled contents from the mixing glass into the tall glass.
  • Stir gently to combine.
  • Garnish with a lime wedge and a fresh sprig of mint.

  • Use crushed ice for a colder, more textured sip.
  • Chill the Baja Blast ahead of time so the drink stays cold without diluting too quickly.
  • Swap agave for simple syrup if you want a more neutral sweetness.
