  • 1.5 oz vodka
  • Sparkling orange soda to top
  • Orange sugar for rimming the glass

Instructions

  • Start by rubbing the rim of a tall glass with a slice of fresh orange. Then, dip the rim into orange sanding sugar to coat it evenly.
  • Fill the glass about 3/4 full with fresh ice cubes.
  • Pour the orange juice and vodka over the ice.
  • Top off the drink with sparkling orange soda.
  • Using a long spoon or a bar spoon, gently stir the mixture until everything is well combined.
  • Garnish with a fresh orange slice and a sprig of mint if desired for a festive touch.
