Ingredients

  • Handful of ripe papaya cubes
  • 1.5 oz Añejo tequila
  • 0.75 oz agave nectar
  • 0.75 oz lime juice
  • 0.5 oz Aperol
  • 0.5 oz orange juice
  • Papaya wedge or lime wheel, for garnish

Instructions

  • Add the papaya cubes and agave nectar to a shaker. Muddle until the fruit is broken down and juicy.
  • Add tequila, Aperol, lime juice, and orange juice.
  • Fill the shaker with ice and shake well until chilled.
  • Double strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice.
  • Garnish with a small papaya wedge or lime wheel.

  • Use ripe papaya for the best flavor and easier muddling.
  • If the drink feels too thick, you can add a splash of water before shaking.
