Ingredients

  • 2 oz Cazadores Reposado Tequila
  • 1 oz pomegranate juice
  • 0.5 oz agave syrup
  • 0.75 oz lime juice
  • Black salt for rimming
  • Pomegranate seeds for garnish, optional
  • Lime wheel for garnish, optional

Instructions

  • Prepare the Glass: Run a lime wedge around the rim of a rocks glass, then dip it into black salt for a striking contrast. Fill the glass with ice and set aside.
  • Mix the Cocktail: In a shaker, combine tequila, pomegranate juice, agave syrup, and fresh lime juice.
  • Shake: Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.
  • Strain and Serve: Strain the mixture into the prepared rocks glass over fresh ice.
  • Garnish: Sprinkle a few pomegranate seeds on top and place a lime wheel on the rim for an elegant finish.
