Ingredients

  • 2 oz Pomegranate juice
  • 1 tsp Fresh ginger root peeled and grated
  • 1/4 ounce Elderflower cordial optional
  • Sparkling water

Instructions

  • Peel and finely grate the fresh ginger root.
  • In a mixing glass, pour the pomegranate juice and add the elderflower cordial (if using). Spoon in the grated ginger.
  • Use a muddler to press down on the ginger, releasing its juices and allowing them to mix with the pomegranate juice. Stir the mixture to combine the flavors.
  • Place a fine strainer over your serving glass and pour the muddled pomegranate and ginger mixture through the strainer to remove any solid bits.
  • Top the strained mixture with sparkling water, adding ice if desired.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy the refreshing and spicy flavors of this mocktail.

Notes

Pro Tips

  • For a stronger ginger flavor, you can increase the amount of grated ginger or let the mixture sit for a few minutes before straining.
  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less elderflower cordial or a touch of honey if desired.
  • Garnish with pomegranate arils or a twist of lemon peel for an extra touch of elegance.
